The exhibit title refers to structures and elements of music, dance and the visual artworks at Colburn this year. As in music and dance, visual art incorporates geometric forms both consciously and intuitively to create harmonies, patterns, consistency and expressive qualities. Some artworks focus more on expression and perception or impressions, which are also key elements of music and dance composition and performance.
